Its clean lines and majestic Istrian stone are blend in sober majesty. The refined and essential interiors, in a discreet and elegant Venetian style, face the Grand Canal with a splendid triple lancet window with balcony and single-lancet windows on the main floor. The coat of arms on the front, belonging to one of Venice’s most illustrious families, the Gritti Family, gives this building an even more fascinating atmosphere.

Indeed, it is said that the noble Doge Andrea Gritti, who also owned the palace next door, had given the Palazzetto to one of his housemaids, in exchange for her silence regarding the paternity of the child she was carrying. An intriguing tale that adds a touch of mystery to this architectural gem.
