The Venetian public transportation system within the City and to the islands is by vaporetto by the ACTV company. There are several stops nearby among which the most convenient is precisely “Riva de Biasio” where Line 1, Line 5.1 and Line 5.2 stop at very frequent intervals. The “Alilaguna” vaporetto (Orange Line) stop to and from the Venice-Tessera “Marco Polo” Airport is located in San Stae just 500m away from the apartments and is very convenient for air transfers. We offer 6 different types of apartments. For an accurate description of each type see the dedicated pages on our website.
The description of each apartment clearly states that it can accommodate up to a maximum number of people. At the time of booking it is therefore necessary to indicate how many people will arrive for proper guest registration. In addition to the specified number of people, it is not allowed to give access to others, under penalty of fines and surcharges.
Sure. The apartments are equipped with fully functional kitchens. However, it is advisable to avoid laborious and particularly demanding preparations (e.g., fried and/or long cooking roasts) so as not to disturb neighboring apartments with intense odors and to avoid creating risks related to overheating of food. No food in preparation may be left unattended. Constant presence and supervision is required for any cooking process or preparation of hot beverages. Any failure to pay attention to these provisions will result, in the event of damage, in a reimbursement of expenses made to restore what was damaged.
Included is room cleaning service prior to arrival, maintenance service to ensure the proper functioning of the facilities and as needed. Any other services determined by any emergencies will be promptly guaranteed.
We do not provide breakfast but each apartment has a full kitchen with appliances and dishes, we also provide a base of condiments for food preparation, a selection of snacks and dried fruits, a selection of teas and herbal teas, and other preserved products for breakfast.
It is possible to request other services directly from third parties who provide independently and directly additional services such as water cab, city tour, etc… In this regard, we can provide all directions and references to facilitate contacts.
A cleaning service is guaranteed before arrival. For an on-demand housekeeping service during your stay, you must contact the service provider for arrangements and cost. We will be able to provide you with all details via email prior to arrival.
For any requests for clarification and/or support, we recommend that you contact us before arrival so as to make your stay as easy and pleasant as possible. For any additional service requests during your stay we will be at your disposal and we will be able to direct you to the most appropriate contact persons to meet your every need.
It is possible. For any such request, it is necessary to notify the facility in advance and specify the age and height of the children. In case you have a child under 3 years old you can make a request for an infant bed.
The availability and price of each type of apartment can be checked at any time on our website at the direct booking page.
We accept credit cards belonging to major international circuits. We accept also cash only with prior notice and directly at the facility within the limits allowed by the current regulations.
The cancellation policy is explicitly stated within the reservation. If the reservation was made through a booking portal online (e.g., Booking.com), the policies and penalties follow the cancellation rules signed with the portal itself. If, on the other hand, the reservation was made directly from our reservation system, you can contact us by specifying in the subject line the reservation number and writing an email to info@palazzinariva.it or by calling +39 3534626405 and we will send you confirmation of the cancellation without penalty or we will indicate what the penalties, if any, are.
Yes, a security deposit of 150.00 euros is required to guarantee any damage to property and/or structural parts of the apartment. For the security deposit, the following will be made a pre-authorization on a credit card communicated by the client.
Yes, for changes related to direct reservations that affect the period of the stay or the type of apartment you can contact us by specifying the reservation number in the subject line and emailing info@palazzinariva.it We will notify you of availability and any price differences. For reservations made through online booking portals (e.g. Booking.com), the ability to change the reservation will follow the rules established by the portal itself depending on the type of treatment chosen.
For any unforeseen circumstance that prevents the arrival for proven reasons (e.g. serious health reasons, natural disasters, etc…) a contact with our reservation department is required through an email in which the reasons for non-arrival will be effectively explained. Any penalties will be applied if the reason expressed is not deemed compatible with our cancellation policy.
All our prices are per apartment, not dependent on the number of occupants, although we do not allow more occupants than the number specified cell description of the apartments.
The rates include 10% VAT. However, tourist tax is not included, amounting to. 4.00 Euro per person per day (maximum 5 days) from February 01 to December 31 and equal to 2.80 Euro per person per day (maximum 5gg) from January 01 to January 31. For possible reductions and/or exclusions, we recommend visiting the website of the City of Venice.
The following costs are excluded from the rate:
  • Tourist tax (mandatory for a maximum of 5 nights) From February 01 to December 31 (High season)- Adults: 4 euros per night – Children (from 10 years of age to 16 years of age and under): 2 euros per night – Children (under 10 years of age): free of charge January 01 to January 31 (Low season) – Adults: 2.80 euros per night – Children (10 years of age to 16 years of age and under): 1.40 euros per night – Children (under 10 years of age): free of charge Prices may vary depending on municipal ordinances.   • Security deposit (required, payable prior to arrival)
Some optional services may incur an additional charge:

Sure. For special discounting based on extended stays, we recommend that you contact our reservations department in order to formulate a customized quote.
Check-in is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Check-out is by 11:00 am. For any check-in/check-out needs outside of these times, please notify the property in advance so that appropriate assistance can be arranged. There is a surcharge pare 50% of the room charge for late check-out service. We do not provide overnight check-in service. Should there be a compelling need to check in during the nighttime hours, you must submit your registration documents prior to arrival. You will be given an access code to enter the facility and an access code to enter your apartment.
Yes, you can leave your luggage inside the palace, in a special room; you can then come back to pick up your luggage at the time of your choice. The storage service has a cost of 30 euro per apartment.
The language in which we prefer to be contacted from abroad is English, although we are also able to understand other European languages among those that are internationally popular.
Our website our website has all the contact references both during the stay and before arrival. All references will still be listed in the booking confirmation email. Should you have a smartphone with the wahtsapp app, you can also communicate via wapp message for quick feedback.
There are no written rules of behavior at the condominium level. We also recommend using the rules of good neighborliness and respect for the welfare of others by referring to good manners. For everything related to behavior even outside the facility you are advised to visit the dedicated page “Enjoy respect Venice”.
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments and inside the facility in the common areas.
Pets are welcome at Palazzina Riva. However, we ask you to notify us with due notice of the number and size of pets (max. 2) and to respect these simple rules:
  • In common areas, animals must be kept on a leash.
  • Animals must never be left unattended in the apartment and the owners will accept full responsibility for any damage caused by the animal.
For each pet there will be an extra charge of €20.00/night, due to additional cleaning
